As a Journeyman Electrician you will be responsible for the safe installation of all electrical systems in residential and commercial projects. Electrical service work requiring ability to troubleshoot will also be necessary. You must also be able to work safely and efficiently, and trouble shoot in a timely manner.


  • Understand codes, ordinances and regulations.

  • Be able to read blueprints and layouts.

  • Be able to select or fabricate electrical materials and equipment.

  • Be able to use tools, testing equipment and measuring instruments.

  • Be able to analyze existing electrical systems at construction sites.

  • Be able to work independently or within a team setting.

  • Be able to read the National Electrical Code.

  • Possess a state-issued Journeyman License

  • Must be a motivated self-starter

  • Dependable

  • Ability to work closely with an apprentice electrician

  • Perform residential and commercial new construction work, service and troubleshooting, standby generator installations

**Starting pay will be based on experience.
